Advanced Cloning Part 2
Open sprites: Were going to use the palette texture again plus the egg chair so clone it and export it sprites making sure once again only change colours is selected in the export whizz. When back in psp open both the front and back sprites of the chair.
Select sprite: We'll edit the front view first change the chair to 24 bit colors than select the magic wand tool. Make sure the tool options is showing if not in the toolbar choose view - toolbars and make sure tool options palette is ticked. Click the tool options and in tolerance type 30.
Click the chair: Now select the chair notice how not just 1 part gets selected but nearly the entire chair? The tolerance tells the wand how much of the object to select!
Select all of the chair: Now we want to select only the white parts of the chair while leaving the seat while it is. You've already selected part of the chair now select the rest by holding down Shift and clicking on the parts of the chair that don't have the little running ants around them. Keep clicking until only the white parts of the chair is selected like below!
Apply texture: Now just like the bath create a new layer and apply the palette file to the chair. Notice how the palette file is only placed on the white part and not the chair part!
Apply filter: And like the bath use the multiply filter in the layer to wrap the image around the chair!
Do the back view: The back view is much easier to do just use the magic wand tool - select - than invert and apply the texture. that's it your done remember to decrease the colors back to 256 than save and import your chair back into t-mog.

And that's advanced cloning on textures.
