Here are some programs, mods and patches that will help you out to download files than click on the sims 2 symbol. Most files come with instructions be sure to read them or check the FAQ! To download any of the large programs and files you will need to subscribe. Make sure to backup your files before installing any of these. For best results use a download manager such as GETRIGHT

Warning: before you try to install any of these programs/patches you must disable all virus scanners. Also these files will work on PC computers ONLY! Some of these files may not work on an international version (non English) of the sims 2 make sure to always backup any files that the mods/patches say they are going to replace before installing!

All files are free to download unless stated otherwise.
 

These icons represent which expansions you need installed. Click the icons depending
what your latest expansion pack was installed to download the patches/programs. If
you only see 1 or 2 of the icons it means that program/patch is for that version only. If you only see 1 icon than that patch/program only works with that version and nothing else. If you don't see an icon than that file will not work with that expansion pack. Some files will work with multiple expansions packs you must choose which ones to install.
